Ashdale Hotels Awards Night
I am delighted to announce first Awards evening that will take place on Sunday 9th November 2008.
The purpose is to recognise outstanding members of staff and to celebrate their success.
I have detailed below how it all works and the criteria for selection and if you have any more questions please just come and ask me or your General manager.

Awards
The awards are for:
Ashdale hotels overall outstanding employee
Each hotel’s outstanding employee
Nominations and selections are based on:
- Performance in your work area
- Customer and staff feedback
- Sick record and time keeping
- Contributions to the hotels success/improvements/customer care
Each hotel GM will nominate four employees:
- You must have worked with us for a minimum of 6 months
- Your GM will write a 250 word summary for all nominees as to why you have been selected which will be submitted to me
- All nominees will attend the awards dinner
- From the four nominees from each hotel I will select one winner from each hotel, and one overall outstanding Ashdale employee.
Each GM, can invite three other members of staff to attend the awards evening
Nominations must be submitted by General managers to me by October 12th 2008

As long as you are enthusiastic, customer focussed, apply common sense and friendly we can teach and train you the other bits
With 3 hotels we can offer variety, flexibility, training in a friendly environment with career progression if you so wish.
In most roles we will provide a mentor whose responsibility it is to ensure you are thoroughly inducted and fully aware of all our handbook policies and procedures and benefits. They will also help you through the first few weeks. Training is monthly and will incorporate generic and specific tasks/sessions
An on going appraisal scheme will ensure your personal goals and objectives are closely monitored
Development and progress is to a certain degree upto you. We are always seeking individuals with initiative and drive to fast track to management positions.

Ashdale Hotels runs a management trainee programme for individuals who aspire to assistant manager and manager level. If you are enthusiastic and highly motivated with genuine pride and passion for the hospitality industry then we would like to hear from you. This programme is suitable for recent graduates or those with strong supervisory experience in Hotels.
